Sorry about the Novel.... i have been awful at updating.

So it is a Saturday and Jared is at school studying and taking a test so i'm home all alone so i figured it would be a good idea to update the blog. We have been some busy people so busy that we havent even had time to take pictures! Im awful at that. We have a couple from the holiday break but most of them are on Facebook too. Anyways here we go the holiday break was great we went a cruise to the Bahamas and it was so fun! we got to eat we wanted, lay out in the nice hot sun and play in the gorgeous water, however the water was FULL of sand! our bathing suits got filled with them not just a little i bet me gained 5 pounds of sand after we left the beach but it was still so fun! We got home on Christmas Eve and had a great time. The smiths are the best in laws ever. My family has a tradition of matching on a lot of holidays and they think that is rather weird. Poor Jared had no idea was he was getting himself into. well Christmas eve came and we opened presents of matching pajamas! i started crying lol they are really the best :) here is evidence that Kevin matched all of us! ;) well we spent the break in Boise went snowboarding and just hung out as a family it was very relaxing. Then we had to come back to school. Boo. But i can honestly say i LOVE my classes this semester. I am learning so much and love it. Jared's O chem class started a summer course so he'll have a rough summer semester coming up but then he'll be done in December! yayy go Jared. We'll stick around here till i finish in April then who knows where we'll end up. its exciting though i love change..Being a military brat i guess you get used to it. Jared finally got his Ski so we're going snowboarding next weekend and i'm really excited about it i love going I'm not that good yet but we're working on it.Probably never master a flip or anything but going down the hill without falling would be nice. Can you beleive our 2 year anniversary is it 2 months! time has gone by so fast. Some days i feel like we have been together forever and other days it feels like just yesterday! We are just loving being together and working hard to finish school. there are a lot of decisions we will be making soon some are exciting and some are scary but we are so excited to see what life will bring. I told Jared as long as i with you i dont care where we end up. I am so lucky to have him as my husband he keeps me unstressed and makes me laugh all the time he makes light of bad situations and always put me first. He's the best! Love you Jared :)

Today i am so THANKFUL for family do not know what i would do without them :)

So this past week Jared has been sick with Strep :( poor guy but he is much better now on his antibiotic. This past weekend Jared tried to surprise me with Disney on Ice tickets because i love it! then he got sick so he had to tell me about it cause i needed a date! So my friend Emily needed a sitter while she went out so i thought her little girl Paige would appreciate it more than anyone and she did! it was such a fun night and she loved it. She is such a cute girl. thanks Em for letting me have paige for the night! :)

Life is going too fast and i cant keep up. Jared and i are still both in school full time and are very busy but we of course find time to have fun... I couldnt be more excited for the holidays to be here. ask Jared i even skipped a class to decorate for halloween! :) For Halloween we only got 2 tricker treaters how sad! lol but it was a great time. We went out with some of our good friends jenny and rob we went to dinner and played some games it was a great night we have awesome friends out here and are so grateful. We have been so crazy busy that we didnt even get to carve our pumpkins till the day before. Last year we tried to get real fancy and it took forever and i got frustrated cause mine was hard so we decided to keep it simple this year! It was such a good night. This year we are spending thanksgiving with my family and i couldnt be more excited i havent been home for this in 3 years, then we are going on a CRUISE for christmas with Jareds family. We're heading to the bahamas and are counting down the days we're ready for both vacations.. It has gotten quite cold here and i cant say i hate it yet it reminds me of the holidays once there is 3 feet of snow i might have a different opinion but for now its great. Well theres a quick update! I will try harder to keep up just know we're so happy and loving our busy life :)

In August we lost someone that means a lot to both of us Jareds mom passed away after battling cancer for 2 years and it has not been an easy road. We are getting through though his family is so strong and i am so grateful to be apart of it. You know Heavenly Father never gives you things you can not handle and just when you think you are about to break you surprise yourself and get through it. Family is a great thing and i know heavenly father gives them to you cause you couldnt get through life without them. Jared is so strong and I am so impressed by his testimony and am so glad he knows he'll see her again. It doesnt make her being gone any easier but it is a comfort. We love and are thankful for all the great friends and family that have sent their love and prayers during this hard time.

So last month my beautiful sister in law got married in the Boise Temple it was such a great experience and the wedding was gorgeous! Her colors were Hot pink and black and if anyone knows brittney they are totally her. It has been quite the busy summer traveling to Boise all the time but we have enjoyed every minute there being able to spend time with family. And the new addition to the family phil; fits right in, we all love him! yes phil we do :) We have a great time every time we get to be with siblings. We leave on Friday to go to Maryland to see my siblings for a week and are so excited! This week has been crazzy with studying and trying to get all our last minute assignments in but i am DONE with finals today and poor Jared has one more tomorrow but then he's done as well and we have a nice little 2 week break which we are ecstatic about! We love life and our families!

My top 15 reasons on why i love him so much. They are in no specific order except #1

1. First and for most he loves the lord.

2. He loves me for me

3. He is the most unselfish person.

4. He loves his mom so much and would do anything for his family.

5. He is motivated

6. He wants a family and I know he will make an amazing father one day.

7. He works so hard to provide me with everything i need and most of the time things i want ;)

8. He supports in whatever i want even if i change my mind a million times he is right there with me

9.He ALWAYS makes me laugh

10. He works hard and is dedicated to school.

11. He appreciates me, my strengths and weaknesses.

12. He helps around the house, which is such a huge help to me

13. He is totally fine with Peanut butter and jelly for dinner ( which is rare i might add! lol but hey it happens :)

14. He makes me feel like princess and like a million bucks all at once everyday!

15. He lets me sleep in on Saturday's :)

My husband has been putting up with a lot of trials on my behalf this past year and let me tell you i could not have gotten through it without him. If anything they have strengthened our relationship with the lord and with each other so we are grateful. He is amazing and am so blessed Heavenly father sent him my way. He is one of a kind and i LOVE him :)
