So remember that time i was good at blogging? yeah me either..... I now have a little more time on my hands so I want to do my best in updating..I'm horrible at keeping a personal journal so I MUST get better at this.. so ALOT has happened in our little world. We are officially residents of St Louis Missouri. We will be spending the next 3 years of our life here. So the beginning of our adventure was well lets just say i wanted to get in the car and head right back to Provo. We decided that living downtown in the city would be best for our little family because with the amounts of hours Jared will be spending at the school we have heard its worth living close to the school so we will actually see him. so we did we rented a little 2 bedroom place for way to much money to live downtown. We drive in and Kyler and i wait in the car while Jared runs in to get our keys and all of a sudden right in front of me at 1 in the afternoon a man decides to take a little leak on the trashcan RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! i freaked. Jared got in the car and i was freaking out "what is wrong with these people it is the middle of the day!" "does this happen all the time" "I am not coming out here by myself" oh yeah the whole 9 yards, we walk into the apartment and it was so cute beautiful sight of the city much smaller than our first home but manageable. We spend our first night here an right outside our window is a band playing till about 2 am. Yep i was ecstatic about living here. Everything that could have gone wrong did. After that however we haven't had a band play or anything too bizarre happen we have actually LOVED living here we walk everywhere everyone has been so welcoming and friendly. Anyone will tell we just moved here they give us loads of recommendations and fun things to do. Kyler is in heaven with all the kids stuff it is amazing. apparently 1% of the taxes go to a cultural tax so it makes everything free or super cheap we havent even competed a quarter of all the fun things. All in all it has been a wonderful experience and we are excited to see what the next three years have in store.

he is so FULL of energy i am totally wiped out by the end of the day sometimes.He is quite the perfectionist and gets frustrated really easily. which is funny but not funny. He loves to get his way what 18 month doesn't i am learning to deal with temper tantrums right now they just came out of nowhere! He HATES nursery screams and cries the whole time..we haven't made it through one Sunday and hes gone for a month! He is a TOTAL mommas boy which i love/hate he always wants me to snuggle but i cant leave without feeling horrible cause he cries "momma momma go" he loves water baths swimming puddles anything! Such a helper loves to help dad fix things, mom cook, put clothes away anything. An awesome sharer at the doctors today he tried to give the lady sitting next to us my 10 dollar bill. ha ha, he is such a sweetheart! we are enjoying all his new developments and this wonderful city we live in! We hope you are all doing as amazing as we are :)

When did my 13 month old become such a BOY..

-He loves to get thrown around and beat up
-throws everything especially if it something he doesn't want ( were working on this one!)
-hits...yes he hits (also working on this one haha)
-climbs on everything
-laughs at his own farts and makes sure we are aware of what just happened
- gets into EVERYTHING.. like i mean EVERYTHING!! ( as i type this he is taking out all of the Tupperware in our cupboards)
-best fit thrower and fake crier..
-grunts when he sees food he wants and is not very patient about it.
-is always dirty...by the end of the day at times he looks like an orphan not really sure how it happens
-eats everything in sight
- hates taking naps; would rather go to sleep early than have to stop playing during the day
-bites.. in his defense he thinks hes giving raspberries; again working on this one
-loves technology: the cell phone computer radio anything really
-carries the remote around like he owns it
-cries when he has to be held down in his car seat . we plan trips sometimes around when hes tired so he will just fall asleep.ridiculous? I know.
- screams all the time..

YES it has happened i do believe we have entered the toddler stage, hes walking around everywhere and gets really mad when he loses his balance... but adding all this and much more he is SO much fun! hes talking  and copying our phrases.. i love everything about it even his bad  hard habits :) as he currently lays by me screaming because i'm "not paying attention to him" he is so sweet and i still cant believe he turned 1 last month which i will be updating this thing soon.. but they really do grow so fast!

In other news in our little world LAW SCHOOL acceptances are in full swing we have been accepted to 10/15 and haven't heard from the last 5 so yes we have been accepted to everyone so far how in the heck are we supposed to choose?? Anxiety and stress have def been present in our home lately. WELL me more than Jared he is so calm and reassuring that we will figure it out.. we probably wont decide until end of march after we fly out to visit our top 3 over spring break..Most schools are mid west and east coast.. Our considerations are Michigan St, Akron, New Hampshire, Drexel, and William and Mitchell that are still in the mix but like i said we still haven't heard from 5 so next month this list could be totally different, which for my "planner brain" is hard to deal with but it's ok we are surviving this whole process! Its gonna be wonderful to be by my family again but i am getting really nervous about the change we love our home, our ward, our friends and our "bubble" after living here for 6 years we have learned to love it and leaving is very bitter sweet. We are so excited for our new adventure but i cant say there wont be tears..i love our life here but i know i will love our life anyway because i have Jared and Kyler.. The things Jared does and says everyday remind me over and over again why i married him.. He is so good to me and we are so blessed. SO heres a little update on our little family, we are hoping to be out of here by June or July and are in the midst of trying to sell our home so if you know of anyone wanting to buy send them our way! :)

Look at my cute boy! i have been really bad at keeping up but that is because i am so i love and busy with this cute little boy!! he is so happy and 7 months old! SERIOUSLY! where has the time gone..

At his 6 month appointment our child is a little monster :) he was 28 inches long, and 20 lbs.. he is off the charts for his height and the 90 percent for everything else. i love my chunky tall baby!

He has 2 adorable little teeth on the bottom and loves FOOD! he can feed himself and loves his puffs and fruits chunks. Anything mom and dad have he thinks he needs.. He loves remotes, cell phones string wires pretty much anything that is NOT a toy, he is not crawling yet but still manages to get into things. He LOVES water we go to the local water park quite a bit and he LOVES to Splash! when i run the bath water he pulls himself up on the side of the tub buts that is the only place he will pull himself up.. its pretty funny.. We fall more in love with our little boy everyday.. I cant imagine life without him!

AS for Jared and I we are both graduated and even though Jared had a couple more chem credits he needs for paton law we took the summer off of school! we are hanging out playing at the waterpark and just enjoying watching our little man grow up. Jared has really loved being home with him the last 2 months. It has been great!! Well there is a little update on the lives of our little family :) we love you all!

Embarrassing moments:
I seem to stumble into these quite often and most of the time i just laugh at myself.. well just today i tripped and Kyler smiled.. great now i have an audience... I totally fell in the church parking lot the other week, skinned my knee, a couple months ago fell down the stairs holding my chocolate cake and peed my pants (don't ask me why i'm telling you this just figured you would enjoy some laughter) don't worry my chocolate cake was totally fine, i fall up or down the stairs quite often actually grocery shopping apparently the automatic door was broken ran right into it. These moments in my life really help me to know im still alive and young. I can still fall and skin my knee just like i did when i was 10, I am always running around and never paying attention to what i am doing.. Sometimes i feel like my life is in fast forward and its never going to slow down, I am married have a baby, graduating college all of these wonderful events that i wouldn't change for the world but life goes by so quickly! these small embarrassing moments help me to stop and appreciate my life and everything i have! Is this making an sense.. maybe it was Kylers smile that set me off it really is the cutest thing in the world, knowing that he is beginning to be aware and understand life around him and that he smile AT ME.. I sure love this kid and everything i have in my life. Jared is an amazing person and i wouldn't change him for anything :)

This post is over due considering he is 4 months old but we'll get on taking that picture this week! He is becoming so active i cant believe it. He hits his toys that dangle above him in his bouncy chair.. he is excellent at tummy time. He still doesnt like to do it for very long but hes getting really good, he started to like his bumbo chair. He is still sleeping through the night and is just wonderful! i love being this little mans mom :)

CHOCOLATE: We have a love hate relationship.. Why does it have to be so good. I could give up anything in the world except this. WHY. So dumb. Jared doesn't really like sweets, like any sweets how did he get so lucky... We have been trying to eat a lot healthier lately and i have no problem with that but i just cant let go of my chocolate and as i type this and think about it i don't even feel bad.. i love it and there is nothing you can do about it :)

So last weekend we took Kyler to his first Jazz game! he loved it he was so focused on all the sounds and lights and people it was great. Jared is a Lebron James fan so he wanted to go watch him play so for Valentines day i got him some tickets :) I'm a jazz fan so I am glad they won by 1 point! It was intense but they are the best kind of games! During the game I look at Jared and he is snapping pictures while all the cheerleaders are on i ask him what the heck are you taking pictures of! (joking around im not crazzy haha!) and he says oh baby im taking pictures of

Lebron...only my husband haha. It was a great night and Kyler was amazing!

I have amazing people in my life. My two best friends from high school flew all the way out here to meet our little man. how blessed am I :) it was so great having them here and catching up. No matter where we are in our life we never seem to forget about the things that are important. I love these girls so much!

Seriously i just love this kid! he is the most easy going lovable baby ever! we truly are blessed :)

we have started the whole him sleeping in his own crib and i made way to big of a deal about it.

we tried it once and he was not having it he cried and i just couldn't let him cry it out.

i know i'm a big wuss

He never cries so i think that is why it was so hard to listen to him cry.

SO the next night we tried again and did things a little different

I laid him down and played with his hair a little bit and talked to him

and in 5 minutes he was out! He slept the whole night too.

He has done it the last 2 nights in a row! Its takes a little longer but i can take 5 minutes to put my little man to bed . he sleeps from 9 till about 7

Its great! i do miss him sleeping next to me because it just means hes getting bigger!

CRAZZY HAIR!
So kyler was born with tons of hair and it is how do we say... out of control! i have tried everything gel, hairspray etc.
and it just sticks right up but i love it :)
Jared suggested cutting it and i freaked out. Im so far from ready to cut his cute little spikes :) So for now he can have crazy out of control hair.

I hope you can tell in this picture he looks like a porcupine but it kind of blends in with the chair.

i cant believe my little man is 2 month old.. well according to his 2 month stat i shouldnt call him my little man! He is 14 lbs and 24.5 inches long!
He has chunky cheeks and i LOVE them i kiss them at least 24532 times a day.
Likes: he likes to eat obviously! you better believe hes eating every 3 hours and tends to get a little impatient if mom is taking too long! He loves to talk and smile at mom and dad. He has LOTS of stories. He likes to roll during tummy time, tummy time is not his favorite now that he knows how to roll over. he loves to poop and gets a big grin on his face after the duty is done. He loves to sleep with mom and dad and yes i let him.
dislikes: hates getting dressed after a bath cause its too cold for him. Hates having to wait to eat he moves his lips super fast and starts to cry if its not right when hes ready.
other than that hes such a GREAT baby. he is so chill and loving he still loves to cuddle and i just eat it all up!

1 Month old!
When they say time flies they aren't kidding Kyler is already a month old!
he smiles while hes awake now it used to only be while he was asleep
we have been working on tummy time but he usually falls asleep while doing his work haha.
He hardly ever cries unless something is wrong
He hates having to wait to eat even if its 30 seconds. Its quite cute :)
he loves to take a bath! He just sits there and lets mom and dad get him all clean
He still sleeps quite a bit but hates to go to sleep at night but once he is asleep he'll give us a good 4-6 hour stretch which is very nice.
He likes watching basketball with dad so it looks like im gonna be outvoted here soon.
His hair sticks up every which way but i love it! He have tried everything.
We are loving every minute with this little boy and its so fun to watch him grow..
His facial expressions are priceless and Jared and I love every single one. even his sad face is adorable. We love being parents even on the hard nights :)

So since my family lives on the East Coast we decided to bless Kyler pretty early he was 2 weeks old and we just did it in our home. We had a small little blessing with just our immediate families and it was prefect. Jared did such a good job and Kyler was perfect.. (can you tell im in love with this little boy :)

Christmas Day: Grandma and Grandpa with the grandkids they are coming pretty fast we have another sweet girl coming in March! It was great having the family here. We still got up soo early but hey thats the tradition i have a feeling its going to get later as the years go on karson is the youngest and he is almost 15 so im sure sleeping in will be a priority soon hopefully ;)

Christmas morning was great.. Kyler got so much haha it was funny, my niece was so fun to watch she is 2.5 and actually understood what was going on. We kept telling her all week Santa was coming and she was so excited well that morning she walked downstairs past all the presents and all her toys that were set up and walked into the kitchen and said. " wheres santa?" haha she thought he was coming to visit her just like we had been telling her lol. She is a smart girl!

Kyler is here!... well has been here :)

New Years resolution be a better blogger... but a little over a month ago our sweet baby came into this world! i already cant believe its been over a month. He is such a joy and we just love everything about him! So before i forget i wanted to get his birth story on here for all those who have been asking! So i went to the doctors on Tuesday and the doctor told me to plan on being pregnant for the next week even though i was already 3 days overdue because he didn't think i would be back to see him, i was so upset! My mom was here and we had been walking like crazy and trying all the tricks you know eating spicy food, black licorice everything but he was just being stubborn! Well we continued to walk and Thursday night while decorating our tree i started having contractions i was actually excited until they started getting really bad then i was done. haha. Jared was timing them and once i had them every 2-3 minutes for 3 hours it was off the hospital and in my mind i was already dying how it was going to get worse amazed me! well we checked in and i was only dilated to 1.5 but the nurse told me that my contractions were so strong so she didn't think we would be leaving. Well an hour later i hadn't changed so the nurse felt bad cause she saw how strong my contractions were so she stripped my membranes trying to get me to progress an hours later still nothing... i wanted to cry. so she said lets try it one more time and if it still hadn't change they would send me home with a shot of morphine. I did not want that.. so she tried again and in the process broke my water on accident! which was great cause then i was admitted and i was allowed to get the epidural! i was in labor for 16 hours and my amazing husband and mom were right by my side the whole time. Kyler finally decided he was ready to come the next morning at 10:25 am!! It was so amazing and we just love him!

He had to go to the NICU for a couple hours which was hard beacuse i didnt even get to hold him but we wanted to make sure he was ok. He had a hard time breathing. The doctor told us since he was so big that when he came out it was like he got the wind knocked out of him.

5 long hours later he was able to come back! i am so grateful jared was able to be with him the whole time.

So glad Jared was there to support me and help me through all this!

My mom was the best i am so grateful and happy she was able to be there!

So the last month of summer was super busy for us! Jared was done with school on the 11th of August and got a 2 week break! and ended up with an A in O chem 2 what a smarty pants! we headed to Boise for some boating the weekend then San diego with my my brother and his wife and their cute little 2 year old for about a week and had so much fun! We walked around LA and visited the Santa Monica pier and spent a lot of time at the beach. It was so nice to get away and relax.. We headed home and spent three days here being lazy and then took off to rexburg for a couple days. It has been a year since Jared's mom passed away and so it was nice to be with his family for the weekend. Time flies its still hard to believe she has been gone for a whole year. She is truly missed. So our 2 weeks were totally filled with go go go but it was a lot of fun..


The baby is still getting bigger and bigger which means this belly just keeps growing and growing!
We are now going on week 27 yayy! Its crazy to think we only have 13 weeks to go! A little scary i have moments where i freak out cause we're going to be PARENTS but most of the time i am very excited :) Jared is thrilled and cant wait to meet him its so cute when he talks about things he is going to do with him and things he is going to teach him! He kicks ALL the time and if anything is sitting on my belly he kicks it he doesn't like things touching him he likes his space just like his daddy! haha

The first day of school was today and i was a little nervous cause getting this big makes it really hard to sit for a long time but it wasnt too bad! my teachers are going to work with me if this baby decides to be stubborn and come late. Lets all hope he is one time! I am so excited that this is my last full time semester! how exciting :) Jared was supposed to graduate in December but he met with his Law advisor and she wants him to take 3 more classes of chemistry so he can do patent law because he has a science degree. He is kind of bummed he has to un-apply for graduation a little depressing lol but it will all be worth it in the end.

I have been awful at taking pictures and i know i am going to regret it but i will try to get some up this week!

Ok up by popular demand heres our little man at 20 weeks.. :) Its been quite the adjustment having a belly.. haha. I thought it would be a lot harder to get bigger but it really hasnt been that too bad. I feel him kick all the time and it is so fun! Jared felt him the other night and he thought it was a little weird but very cool. lol Looking at cute baby stuff if so fun! I love shopping for him.. we found the bedding we are going to do and have already bought clothes.. His room is currently the office so we are having to move that stuff out which has been a process.. Jared is gone all day long and there is not much i can do when it comes to moving the furniture so its gonna have to be a weekend job.. I didnt realize how being pregnant would affect the both pf us so much! i have to think about bringing snacks ALL the time. Jared has been so good about everything i really am so lucky. I do miss being tan in the summer that has been hard! i love laying in the sun but its all worth it :) Jareds sister is also pregnant and we are 4 DAYS apart! This is there first one too and the first 2 grandkids in jareds family so it is going to be a crazzy time! They just found out they are having a girl so it will be so fun to have both a boy and a girl! We are so blessed and just love our growing families.. My mom is coming out for the whole month of December which i am so excited about..it will be such a comfort to have her there cause i will have no idea what im doing!

4 Months to go :)

Exciting news! long post but i promise its worth it!

We're having a baby! yes its true and finally happening.. we have alot of funny stories about this whole baby thing we wanted to wait till i got out of the first trimester to tell everyone so we did and at about 14 weeks we told all of our close family and friends! About a week later i started getting really bad abdominal pains with throwing up and everything else not fun. Which i have been having for about 6 months and have had so many tests run and nothing has ever come up! it was quite annoying. Well this week it got bad it started wed night and by thursday i was in the ER to figure out what it is. Of course they run tests on my gallbladder and nothing so they sent me home with some pain meds. Well being pregnant i was getting nervous. The next day i woke up with a fever and worse pain went to my OB and he said the baby was fine but he sent me to the ER cause he thought it was my appendix.

*** Mind you while all this was going on i had finals and Jared and a HUGE OChem test to take not a ideal week for all this to happen.

So my dear friend Jenny came with me to the ER to see what was going on so Jared didnt have to leave school for no reason. Go into the ultrasound for my appendix and sure enough right away he told me i had a appendisitis--> no idea how to spell that... while in there he checked on the baby and said i was actually almost 16 weeks and he could tell what we were having and asked if i wanted to know. well jared wasnt there but i couldnt resist YES! and he said see that right there its a BOY!! I was so excited wasnt even thinking about the pain. I called jared right away and told him i would be going into surgery and that i knew what we were having. He was ok not being there because the circumstance and is very excited he has wanted a boy since day 1. He arrived and jenny's husband Rob arrived to give me a blessing. I was so worried going into surgery being pregnant but all the doctors assured us it was ok. I spent 2 days in the hospital because they scraped me uterus while in surgery and wanted to make sure nothing happened. They checked on the baby every 2 hours and he was always doing just fine. I am now home and jared is taking amazing care of me i cant walk much but im sure the baby needs time to just chill after all we have been through. So there you have it were having a baby and its a boy what a great post! we are so excited and im ready to be done recovering from this surgery. thanks to all our friends and family that have been there we love you guys!

UPDATE:

I was doing so good at this whole blogging thing then finals happened it all

went down hill..

So our semester is over! but dont you worry a new one has started for me ohh the joys of taking summer classes. Jared has a week off before his semester starts is this fair?

NO! :)

He only has 4 classes till he is done! how exciting then we have a couple options not sure which one we're gonna take yet.. Job or grad school? we'll see!

He has recovered very well from his surgery and is ready to knock out theses classes. Summer is Organic Chem for him which is the hardest class of his college career so summer might be a little stressful in our household but he is always so good about coming home in a good mood :)

As for me I am supposed to graduate in December but because of one class will not be until April but hey thats ok we'll be in Utah so one class wont kill me! YAYY for us almost being done!

other than school running our lives nothing exciting has happened.

NBA finals are about to be the death of me.. That is ALL Jared watches

I swear it never ends.. I told Jared you know we watch sports too much when i know all the names of players. Awh well at least its not something really dumb. Ill survive some how :)

well there is an update to out little life.

We are still happier than ever and i seem to love Jared more and more everyday even if he is trying to kill me with sports.

So Jared and I have this new obsession with snowboarding we go once a week and its been great A couple times ago my brother came with us and it was lots of fun.

It is something that Jared and I can do together and we just love it! Wherever we end up after we graduate the amazing mountains we have here will truly be missed.

We were talking last night about how good Utah has been to us and i thought i would

never say this but i'm really going to miss Utah. I absolutely love it out here.

The winter and summer sports are so amazing and you cant get that anywhere else.

I'm starting to panic a little bit about moving. Though its at least a year away, a year goes by

so quick! I really hate the unknown sometimes but then again its also so exciting!
